Oh, it's been fabulous! They live basically on the beach with the best park on the island a few blocks away...such a lovely vacation for us :) We take evening walks by the ocean to the park to feed the fish and let Little E slide for a bit, dip our toes in the bath-warm ocean water, watch the sun set and the moon rise over the Pacific...simply lovely. Little E has been enjoying all the new toys here that our friends' daughter left. It's been great.
I'm 6 months along now with our little baby BOY!! Yes, we're having a boy and I'm super nervous about it! I have no idea what to do with a rowdy, dirty, smelly boy! Plus, I have 6 boxes of girl clothes ready to be hand-me-downs!! Now I have to go buy a ton of boy clothes (and we all know they are not as cute as girl clothes)...grrr. I know we'll love him more than we can imagine, but I don't know what to do with him right now... heh heh.
It's so hot here, we've been staying inside or going to the water each day. Little E is starting swim classes soon and I'm very ready for her to get more comfortable getting her head under.
Almost all of Little E's little friends have gone back to the states this summer, so she's a bit lonely these days and probably sick of me! Ah, summer!
